Our laboratory
Our laboratory
Every Veritas lot passes through a three-stage quality process before it is cleared for dispatch. We do not release a batch until all three signatures are on file: ours, the independent laboratory’s, and the mass-spectrometer’s.
The three-stage process
- In-house reverse-phase HPLC at 214 nm establishes a purity figure and retention-time fingerprint for the lot.
- An accredited third-party laboratory in Houston re-runs the same sample to confirm the result independently.
- Electrospray-ionization mass-spectrometry confirms identity against the expected molecular weight.
Purity, honestly reported
We report HPLC purity as measured, typically in the 98.0–99.1% range for our catalog. Synthetic peptides are never truly 100% pure, and we will not print a figure we cannot defend on a chromatogram.
The chromatogram and identity confirmation ship in the box and are published to our public lot index, where any researcher can verify a batch number against the COA.
