Privacy policy

Effective date: July 24, 2026. Last updated: July 24, 2026.

This Privacy Policy (the "Policy") describes how Veritas Peptides ("Veritas Peptides," "we," "us," or "our") collects, uses, discloses, and retains information about you when you visit veritaspeptideslab.com and any related pages, features, and communications (collectively, the "Site"), create an account, place an order, or otherwise interact with us. Our products are supplied strictly for laboratory and research use only and are not intended for human or veterinary use or for any diagnostic or therapeutic purpose.

By accessing or using the Site, creating an account, submitting information, subscribing to our communications, or placing an order, you acknowledge that you have read and understood this Policy and agree to the collection, use, disclosure, and retention of your information as described in it and in our Terms of Sale. If you do not agree, do not use the Site or provide information to us.

Information we collect

We collect the categories of information described below, whether you provide it directly, it is generated automatically through your use of the Site, or we receive it from third parties acting on your behalf.

Information you provide to us

  • Account and identity data, such as your name, email address, and telephone number, and the password you set (which we store only in a hashed, non-reversible form).
  • Order and shipping data, such as your shipping and billing addresses, the products and quantities you purchase, your order history and order value, any promotional or discount codes you use, and the research-use, eligibility, and age attestations you accept at checkout.
  • Payment data. In connection with payments and any saved payment methods, payment card information may be collected and tokenized by a payment processor. We retain only a payment token, the card brand, the last four digits, and the expiration date. We do not store your full payment card number or card security code.
  • Business and wholesale data, such as your company name, business type, website, expected order volume, and tax or resale identification number (for example, an EIN), if you apply for a wholesale or business account.
  • Communications, marketing, and other data you submit, such as the contents of contact forms, wholesale inquiries, newsletter sign-ups, reviews or testimonials, and any correspondence you send us.

Information we collect automatically

  • Device and connection data, such as your IP address, browser and device type, and related request metadata, which we process to operate, secure, and rate-limit the Site and to prevent fraud and abuse.
  • Usage, order, and account activity, such as pages and products viewed, actions taken, order and account events, and timestamps, including internal audit records of changes made to your orders.
  • Cookies and similar technologies that are strictly necessary to provide the Site, as described in “Cookies and tracking technologies” below.

Information from third parties

  • Service providers that help us operate the Site, such as our hosting, security, payment, email, and fulfillment providers, may provide us with information relating to your orders, deliveries, transactions, or the security of the Site.

We do not intentionally collect Social Security numbers, precise geolocation, biometric information, or health information, and we ask that you not submit such information to us.

How we use your information

We use the information we collect for our business and commercial purposes, including to:

  • process, fulfill, ship, and track your orders, and manage returns, refunds, and lot documentation;
  • create and administer your account, authenticate you, and provide customer support;
  • process payments and prevent, detect, and investigate fraud, chargebacks, abuse, security incidents, and other unauthorized or unlawful activity;
  • operate, maintain, secure, analyze, improve, personalize, and develop the Site, our products, and our services;
  • send you transactional and service messages (such as order, shipping, account, and security notices) and, where permitted, marketing communications about products, offers, and promotions;
  • administer subscriptions, promotions, discounts, wholesale programs, and referral or loyalty features;
  • comply with applicable laws, regulations, and legal process, enforce our Terms of Sale and other agreements, and establish, exercise, or defend legal claims; and
  • carry out any other lawful purpose disclosed to you at the point of collection or to which you consent.

We may also de-identify or aggregate information so that it no longer reasonably identifies you, and we may use and retain such de-identified or aggregated information for any purpose without restriction. Where we rely on your consent to process information, you may withdraw that consent at any time, although this will not affect processing already carried out.

Cookies and tracking technologies

We use only a limited set of cookies and similar technologies. The cookies we set are strictly necessary, functional cookies — for example, a session cookie that keeps you signed in and a cart cookie that remembers the contents of your cart. We also store a small flag in your browser to remember whether you have dismissed certain on-site messages.

We do not use advertising cookies, and we do not permit third-party advertising networks to track you across other websites through our Site. Any website analytics we use are privacy-preserving and are configured not to use cookies or to identify you individually, and any error-monitoring we use is configured to remove personal identifiers such as IP addresses. Because we do not use cookies that require consent for tracking or advertising, we do not display a cookie-consent banner. You can control or delete cookies through your browser settings; however, disabling strictly necessary cookies may prevent parts of the Site — such as signing in or checking out — from functioning.

Some browsers transmit “Do Not Track” or similar signals. Because we do not track you across third-party websites for advertising, we do not separately respond to such signals, except where we are legally required to treat a recognized opt-out preference signal as a valid request, as described in “Your privacy rights.”

How we disclose your information

We do not sell your personal information for money, and we do not share your personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising. We disclose personal information only as described below:

  • Service providers and processors. We share information with vendors that perform services on our behalf under contract, including cloud hosting and database services; content-delivery and security services (including a provider that processes visitor IP addresses to protect and deliver the Site); media storage; email delivery; website analytics and error monitoring; payment processing; and order fulfillment and shipping. These providers are permitted to use the information only to provide services to us.
  • Legal, safety, and compliance. We may disclose information to comply with applicable law, regulation, subpoena, court order, or other legal process; to respond to lawful requests from public authorities; to enforce our agreements and collect amounts owed; and to protect the rights, property, safety, or security of Veritas Peptides, our customers, or others, including to prevent or investigate fraud or wrongdoing.
  • Business transfers. If we are involved in or evaluating a merger, acquisition, financing, reorganization, bankruptcy, sale of assets, or similar transaction, your information may be transferred or disclosed as part of that transaction to the extent permitted by law.
  • Affiliates. We may share information with our corporate affiliates for the purposes described in this Policy.
  • At your direction or with your consent. We may disclose information when you ask us to or when you otherwise consent.
  • De-identified or aggregated information. We may disclose de-identified or aggregated information that does not identify you for any purpose.

Data retention

We retain personal information for as long as we deem necessary to fulfill the purposes described in this Policy and to serve our legitimate business interests. Because your account, order history, and research documentation may remain relevant to future orders, support, safety, recordkeeping, and legal or tax obligations, we may retain your information for an indefinite period, including after your account becomes inactive.

We are not obligated to delete information except where required by applicable law or upon a valid request that is not subject to an exception. In particular, and even after you request deletion, we may retain order, transaction, payment, shipping, and communication records; information contained in immutable audit logs, security records, and backups; and any information we are permitted or required to keep for tax, accounting, legal, regulatory, dispute-resolution, fraud-prevention, warranty, and compliance purposes. We may retain de-identified or aggregated information indefinitely.

Your privacy rights

Depending on where you reside and subject to applicable law, you may have certain rights regarding your personal information. All rights are subject to verification of your identity and to the exceptions and limitations permitted by law, including our right to retain information as described in “Data retention.” We may decline a request, or charge a reasonable fee, where permitted by law.

Rights that may be available to you

  • Access or know — request the categories and specific pieces of personal information we have collected about you, the sources, the purposes for which it is used, and the categories of third parties to whom it is disclosed.
  • Delete — request that we delete personal information we have collected from you, subject to the legal exceptions and retention rights described above.
  • Correct — request that we correct inaccurate personal information we maintain about you.
  • Opt out of marketing — unsubscribe from marketing emails at any time using the link in those messages or by contacting us. We may still send you transactional and service messages.
  • Opt out of sale or sharing — although we do not sell personal information or share it for cross-context behavioral advertising, you may still direct us not to, and we will honor applicable opt-out preference signals where legally required.
  • Non-discrimination — we will not discriminate against you for exercising your rights.

California residents (CCPA/CPRA)

If you are a California resident, the California Consumer Privacy Act, as amended by the California Privacy Rights Act, provides the rights described above. The categories of personal information we collect are described in “Information we collect,” and the sources, business and commercial purposes, and categories of recipients are described in “How we use your information” and “How we disclose your information.” In the preceding twelve months, we have disclosed identifiers, commercial information, internet or other electronic network activity information, and coarse location information derived from IP addresses to the categories of service providers described above, for the business purposes described above. We have not sold personal information and have not shared personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising, and we do not knowingly do so with respect to consumers we know to be under 16 years of age. You may exercise your rights by contacting us as described in “Contact us,” and you may use an authorized agent to submit a request on your behalf with proof of authorization.

Other U.S. state residents

Residents of certain other U.S. states may have similar rights to access, correct, delete, or obtain a portable copy of their personal information, and to opt out of targeted advertising, the sale of personal data, or certain profiling. Because we do not sell personal information, engage in cross-context behavioral advertising or targeted advertising, or conduct such profiling, some of these rights may not apply. You may contact us to exercise any right available to you, and where required by law we will provide a mechanism to appeal a decision to decline a request.

How to exercise your rights

To submit a request, email us at [email protected] with enough information for us to locate your records and verify your identity. We will respond within the time required by applicable law. We may deny a request to the extent an exception applies or where we are unable to verify your identity.

How we protect your information

We maintain reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational measures designed to protect personal information. These include encryption of data in transit, strict transport security, storage of passwords using industry-standard one-way hashing, tokenization of payment card data (we do not store full card numbers or security codes), role-based access controls that limit who may access customer information, session protections, and rate-limiting and other abuse-prevention measures.

No method of transmission over the Internet or method of electronic storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security. You are responsible for keeping your account credentials confidential and for all activity that occurs under your account. You use the Site and provide information to us at your own risk, and to the fullest extent permitted by law we disclaim liability for any unauthorized access to, use of, or loss of your information.

Marketing communications

If you sign up for our newsletter or otherwise opt in to marketing, we will send you communications about products, promotions, and news, and we use a confirmed (double opt-in) process for newsletter sign-ups. You may opt out at any time by using the “unsubscribe” link in any marketing email or by contacting us. Regardless of your marketing preferences, we may continue to send you non-promotional transactional and service messages, such as order confirmations, shipping updates, and security alerts, that are necessary for your account or purchases.

Children’s privacy

The Site and our products are intended solely for research professionals and are not directed to children. You must be at least 21 years old to purchase, and you represent that you are acquiring products for lawful laboratory or research purposes. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a minor has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will take appropriate steps to delete it.

Third-party links

The Site may contain links to third-party websites or resources. We are not responsible for the privacy practices or content of those third parties, and this Policy does not apply to them. We encourage you to review the privacy policies of any third-party sites you visit.

U.S.-based service and international users

The Site is operated in the United States and is intended for users located in the United States, and we ship only within the United States. We do not intend to offer the Site, our products, or our services to individuals located in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, or other jurisdictions where doing so would subject us to their local registration or data-protection requirements. If you access the Site from outside the United States, you do so on your own initiative and are responsible for compliance with local laws, and you consent to the transfer, storage, and processing of your information in the United States, where data-protection laws may differ from those of your country.

Changes to this Policy

We may update this Policy at any time in our sole discretion. When we do, we will revise the “Last updated” date above and post the updated Policy on this page. Changes are effective when posted, and your continued use of the Site after we post changes constitutes your acceptance of the updated Policy. We encourage you to review this Policy periodically.

If you have questions about this Policy or wish to exercise your privacy rights, contact us at [email protected]. This Policy is incorporated into and subject to our Terms of Sale, which govern your use of the Site, including any provisions on governing law and dispute resolution.
